James has been an Executive Director for CMP Architects since 2018. With over 16 years’ experience in the construction industry, James is primarily responsible for managing the front-end design through to planning. James has personally handled complex planning applications including all aspects of community and stakeholder engagement. He has built up experience in the technical and delivery stages of the construction process providing continuity between concept design and project delivery. This has involved managing key areas of teamwork and communication with clients, consultants, and local authority bodies.

During this period he has been involved in the growth of the practice and overseeing early stage design across a multitude of project sectors including Leisure, Retail, Industrial, Residential and Mixed Use developments.

Outside of work James enjoys cricket, history & culture alongside socialising with family and friends.
