BRIDGE HOUSE, BAR HILL
Status - Completed (Completed)
Client - Wrenbridge
The development aims to tackle the condition of the existing site, by redeveloping and regenerating it, creating a more flexible and efficient building to suit modern market requirements for the proposed E(g) (iii), B2 and B8. The unit will be designed to exceed
modern standards for sustainability which is a key issue for occupiers and building owners.
The site provides a highly accessible employment location by car and bus (due to its proximity to the A14) as well as cycle and foot. The village of Bar Hill and other nearby villages such as Girton and Longstanton provide a ready-made local workforce for businesses and promotes the ability for sustainable transport access.
Demolition of existing commercial buildings and erection of building for Use Class B2, E(g)(iii) and B8 uses and associated parking, service areas, hard surfacing, improved site access, substation, landscaping and
means of enclosure.
